Bestat Marks Seven Years of Industry–Academia Collaboration

Since 2019, Bestat Pharmaservices Corp. has partnered with Tamkang University to provide internship opportunities that bridge academic learning and real-world practice. Entering its seventh year, this long-term collaboration reflects Bestat's continued commitment to higher education and professional talent development.

On December 26, 2025, the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Tamkang University held the “Academic Year 2025 Full-Time Off-Campus Internship Signing Ceremony.” Bestat was represented at the event, joining the university in marking an important milestone in industry–academia cooperation. Through a structured internship program, students are able to strengthen their professional competencies in real industry settings and better prepare for future careers.

Bestat CEO Samuel Su has long emphasized the importance of education and talent cultivation, viewing corporate growth and social responsibility as inseparable. He noted that statistics and data analysis are indispensable core competencies in new drug development and clinical trials, and that industry–academia collaboration plays a crucial role in helping students transform theory into practice while building solid professional foundations. Bestat will continue to invest resources to support young talents as they progress in their academic and professional journeys.

Through years of collaboration with Tamkang University, Bestat has strengthened its ties with academia while fulfilling its long-term commitment to talent development. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, contributing to the cultivation of a new generation of professionals equipped with both expertise and a strong sense of responsibility.

Looking ahead, Bestat will further deepen industry–academia partnerships, integrating practical experience with professional expertise to inject sustained momentum into the development of Taiwan’s biopharmaceutical industry.
