Samuel Su Leads TKU's First-Ever 75th Anniversary Run, Inspiring Thousands to Celebrate Through Movement

On November 23, 2025, Tamkang University hosted its first-ever anniversary run in celebration of its 75th founding year. Organized by the TamKang University Alumni Association Headquarters of Departments, the event brought together over a thousand alumni, students, faculty members, and community participants. The run was planned and promoted by Samuel Su—President of the TKU Alumni Association Headquarters of Departments and CEO of Bestat Pharmaservices Corp.—symbolizing a renewed connection between health, community spirit, and sustainable values.

As the university’s inaugural running event, the focus was not on competition but on the spirit of completion. Each lap measured 3.75 kilometers, with two laps totaling 7.5 kilometers—an intentional design to echo the 75-year journey of Tamkang University, reminding every participant that they are part of the institution’s shared history.

During the event, Samuel emphasized the deeper meaning behind the run:Let us explore knowledge and history with our own footsteps, and let our passion strengthen the bonds between one another and this land of learning.” His message resonated strongly with the crowd, inspiring many alumni to reflect on their own memories of Tamkang.

The event also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, promoting physical activity, encouraging participants to reconnect with nature, and highlighting the importance of maintaining physical and mental wellness through an inclusive and safe running environment.

As a leading CRO in Taiwan, Bestat continues to uphold its core values of professionalism, quality, and efficiency. Samuel brings these same principles into public service—supporting talent development, investing in education, and giving back to his alma mater. By driving this milestone event, he demonstrated not only leadership in industry but also a strong commitment to community and sustainability.

Bestat congratulates Tamkang University on the success of its 75th anniversary celebrations and looks forward to future collaborations that promote health, sustainability, and collective well-being.
