Witnessing a Moment of Glory: Samuel Receives the TKU Golden Eagle Award
On 2nd November, Tamkang University (TKU) held its 74th Anniversary Celebration and the 38th Golden Eagle Award Ceremony. This year, we are proud that Bestat’s CEO, Samuel Su, received this esteemed award, recognizing his remarkable achievements as an alumnus. Established in 1987, the Golden Eagle Award was created to honor alumni who have dedicated themselves to the nation, served society, benefited humans, and given back to their alma mater. Out of TKU’s 320,000 alumni, only around 200 have been awarded this distinction.
Samuel graduated from TKU's Master's program in Statistics 20 years ago. Currently, he not only serves as the President the Tamkang University Alumni Association Headquarters of Departments, but has also returned to campus as a doctoral student at TKU. Over the past 2 decades, Samuel has continuously supported his alma mater. In addition to returning to the university as a lecturer, he has regularly sponsored TKU and actively promoted collaborations between the TKU and Bestat, helping younger generations on their future career. Since becoming the President of the Tamkang University Alumni Association Headquarters of Departments, he has tirelessly organized various events, fostering a strong bond among alumni.
Regarding this award, Samuel expressed not only joy but also deep gratitude toward his alma mater. He takes great pride in being a part of the TKU community, and sincerely hopes to continue giving back to TKU in the future, while also making greater contributions to society.
